Dear Dr Pfeifer,

Thank you for being a great boss and a great mentor. You have led with strength and dignity. You have provided warmth and compassion to people around.

We have spent time in the office but the moments after work were the ones I missed most. We drank, enjoyed the sunset while sailing down Mekong Delta. Food has been a great part of our exchanges. I talked about tasting and you described about cooking it.

With a heavy heart, I bid you farewell. May heaven reward this kind soul with peace and compassion. May those that have been touched by you remember your values that you have taught.
